An egg case of the Small-spotted catshark.
The island Ameland in the north of the Netherlands is covered under a thick blanket of grey clouds. A great time to take a walk on the beach is right after a storm, if the winds came from the East you have a very good chance of finding some interesting things.
Egg case of a ray.
The very, very last Indian cress from Yvonne’s garden is on my desk. I’m taking one of the flowers to put on top of the salad I’m making tonight. When I look up I just catch a glimpse of the sunset, and judging from the clouds there is more rain to come. But the sun is out on my desk!
If you look closely you can find the common wentletrap and common tower shells.
