Cayman Islands

Arriving on the Cayman Islands is a little like stepping in a warm bath. You relax and immediately forget about all the things you were stressing about before. I slowly clear my mind and before I know it my urge to paint is back. A rocky point near the house is a favorite spot for some other migratory species: the Ruddy turnstone, Grey plover and Semi-palmated plover. They walk across the coral rock in search of a little shrimp, a small crab or some other small crawling thing. They’re also here to find warm weather, these birds came from the contiguous United States, Canada and some even Alaska.
